Something we learned a long time ago is that we can have the most fantastic design for a place, but until it is built, there needed to be a way to communicate to the general public just how special and exciting a new design would be.
It started out with a pile of magic markers and a blank piece of paper. Someone wanted a picture of a building they were going to be building the following year. We probably couldn't have foreseen that thirty years later this would also be an integral part of our business. We also wouldn't have guessed that most of the markers would have been replaced with pixels, computer animation, video footage, and something called a "mouse".
Still, this is where we find ourselves. Hundreds of still renderings, tens of thousands of animation frames, and a learning curve that never seems to flatten out. Nothing we've found yet comes close to 3D computer graphics for making complex designs understandable, helping to put people in a space before it is built, or most of all, helping to sell something that doesn't yet exist. We didn't invent computer-generated illustration, but we're working very hard to perfect it.
This work takes a lot of different forms, tailored to each specific project. Types of work that have been valuable to past projects include;
- 3D Modeling / Rendering
- 3D Animation
- Highly detailed, near-photo realistic architectural renderings (interior and exterior)
- Colored floorplans - 2D & 3D
- Interior design visualization
- Fly-over and/or fly-through animations
- Virtual Tours
- Design Process Visualization
- Fully produced sales videos
- Brochure Design
- Logo Design
- DVD Authoring
- Photo Matching
- Motion Graphics
- Logo Animations
- Creative Animation
- Photo Matching
